The Yoke of Excuse Syndrome People under this condition always have reasons why certain things cannot be done, why things cannot be achieved and should not be done. They always admit defeat even before they begin or they excuse their failure with one reason or the other. They are failure-orientated people; their mindset is more inclined to failure than success. They envisage failure even where the possibility of achieving success is huge. Those with the disease always come up with excuses like, “I’m not good enough.” “I’m too young” or “I’m too old.” “I don’t know people there who can help me.” “I’m not well-educated.” “I have this disease or this disability.” “People might think that I am…” “What if…” “But my color is…” “But we don’t have enough resources.” “Many people have tried before and failed.” “It is going to be very difficult if not impossible to...” To be a success, you have to believe in yourself, see your potential, and be able to recognize opportunities and know that there is always a way out. You must learn to see solutions, answers, success, victory, and possibilities where other people do not see them. Start to see your world and engage life differently. You have to see your end as God sees it. Inside of you lies so much potential that you do not even realize. There is nothing that the Lord will allow to come your way that you cannot handle. There is no idea that will rise in your brain that you cannot handle. If you can think or imagine it, you can do it. Yes You Can!

Beware of Vision Stealers! Vision stealers are those people who do not give regard to what you believe about yourself. They are the people who want to do everything to make you feel less, helpless and undeserving and, they want to put out your fire. They believe your dream and passion are all folly. To reach your destiny, you need to Keep away from vision stealers, for if you stick with them, they will eventually wear you out. Keep away from all those who have no respect for your dreams and aspirations, if you stay with them, they will kill your fire and your enthusiasm. Do not make a companion of anybody who is confessing negative things about what you are doing, who despises what you believe God is making out of you, and who always has a dozen and one reasons why what you are doing will not succeed. Whoever does not believe in you and your dream has not right to access your heart.

To be bigger than what you are today, you have got to start talking big, aiming big, and planning big. There is hardly anything you cannot achieve if you set your heart to it, it’s only that you have not tried it. Backing down and failing to go for what God says is yours is not humility. Humility versus inferiority complex - Humility is the ability to genuinely stoop down and reach out and relate to people without feeling like you are more important than they are. Inferiority complex is the feeling of weakness, feeling less than others, and feeling inadequate. You can make it, the world is waiting for you!
